What does 1,000,000 requests in a month cost?
When do I get billed?
At the end of each calendar month, for usage above 5,000 requests. You receive an invoice by email and are charged via the payment method on file.
Do unused free requests roll over?
No. The 5k free tier resets at the start of each billing month. It does not accumulate.
Is there a credit card required to sign up?
No. You can create an account and use the API up to the 5k free limit without adding a payment method. A card is only required once you exceed the free tier.
What counts as a request?
Each IP lookup counts as one request, including batch endpoint calls (one request per IP in the batch).
What if I need more than 10M requests/month?
